I feel your frustration and anguish. If all else fails try and contact the DDG of Home Affairs directly (his email is on the DHA website).He may/may not accelerate your case to the processing unit or customer service but at least let your chips fall where they may! If you still don't get help try www.passportassist.co.za. They are portrayed as people who have helped a lot of people in your situation but you have to pay them upfront. I applied for a forename change which was approved after which I applied for a new ID 7 months ago. I checked online and found " no application on record" as a result. I then visited the department of home affairs here in PE today and asked them if my ID had arrived and they told me it was suspended with no valid reason. Then the lady working there said to me I need to come back in a month cause they might send the application back. So realistically it takes the people in Pretoria 2 months to send the application back for no reason. Could someone who actually knows how the system works please help me. Maleeha

It all started when I was in grade 8 I always negative things to say about the school they came a stage where I begged my parents to change me to a different school but they told me I go to school for myself and my future so I should stop complaining and strive for my education . Today I am in matric haven't had any problems , academically I achieved and I must say I enjoyed the journey of being a CR Swart learner . Once a Swartjies always a Swartjie .
